Oppenheimer Development Corporation “ODC” has an extensive history in downtown Boise. Founded in 1972 in Boise, Idaho, our initial emphasis was on the development of real estate investment projects for Oppenheimer-Falk Realty Company, which evolved from Falk Realty Company (established in 1868). Falk Realty, a predecessor company founded by Nathan Falk over 100 years ago, and succeeded by his son, Leo J. Falk, was responsible for Boise downtown projects including the Owyhee Hotel, Falk’s Building and the Egyptian Theater. Oppenheimer Development Corporation developed One Capital Center in 1975, the first project to be built on Boise redevelopment property and Wells Fargo Center in 1989.
ODC has attained strategic growth by developing and managing substantial real estate ventures for clients, including: Idaho Department of Lands, J.R. Simplot Company, CenturyLink, Wright Runstad & Co., Bank of America, Safeco Properties, Wells Fargo Bank, General Services Administration, City of Eagle, City of Caldwell and the East Caldwell Urban Renewal Agency.
Today, ODC focuses on commercial real estate development, project management, consulting and property management while remaining active in commercial real estate projects in Idaho and the Northwest. Projects in the Treasure Valley in which we retain a substantial interest include: Wells Fargo Center (an 11-story, 200,000 sf office building in downtown Boise), One Capital Center (a 14-story, 230,000 sf office building in downtown Boise), and Overland Park Shopping Center (an 180,000 sf shopping center in Boise).
